A native of Rhode Island, Paula Cuculo joined Indeglia Lutrario in 2023 as “Of Counsel”. Paula’s practice focuses on the areas of real estate, title work, estate planning, wills, probate and trust administration. Paula has experience practicing before all Rhode Island courts, as well as many of the municipal courts throughout the jurisdictions within the State of Rhode Island.
Prior to joining Indeglia Lutrario, Paula served as the Rhode Island State Underwriting Counsel for a title insurance agency, where she was responsible for advising agents, clients and companies on all real estate title matters. She also handled the review and preparation of title commitments and policies for compliance purposes in accordance with Rhode Island law and Rhode Island title standards. In addition, Paula has guided countless clients throughout the process of drafting, contesting and probating wills and trusts, and continues to do so with Indeglia Lutrario. She has represented estates, executors and trustees with respect to all aspects of administration of a Decedents’ estates and trusts. She further has considerable experience in handling guardianship and conservatorship cases, including having served as a guardian ad litem for many clients. She has worked with individual fiduciaries through probate, guardianship and trust proceedings involving fiduciary liability issues, will contest and any and all related court proceedings.
Early on in her career, Paula started off as a paralegal, before attending law school and becoming a member of the Rhode Island Bar in 1989. At that time, Paula acted as an undergraduate adjunct faculty member at Roger Williams College, where she taught courses in law office management, litigation and paralegal studies. Since 1994, Paula has served as a Probate Judge for the Town of North Providence, Rhode Island, where she still remains today.
