As the lead attorney in the firm’s estate planning and probate department, Alisha is part of a group of attorneys firmly committed to the objective of helping individuals and families to plan their futures, preserve their belongings and administer their loved ones’ estate. Alisha provides a high degree of service assisting clients to ensure that assets are protected during their lives and that there is a successful wealth transfer through the probate process. The compassionate and understanding approach allows for peace of mind of clients facing some of the most difficult decisions and hardest times of their lives.

Alisha’s practice also focuses on corporate transactions and commercial transactions, representing companies and businesses in all stages. Alisha works closely with individual and corporate fiduciaries, often collaborating with business and tax advisors to assist with complex and sophisticated business structures. Alisha’s ability to offer sound legal advice and guidance compounded with an understanding of the broader implications of any transaction allow her to provide clients with an outlook that accounts for the real world and legal challenges facing today’s businesses.

Alisha started out her legal career as an intern, spending two years with Indeglia Lutrario prior to her admission to the Rhode Island Bar Association, all while simultaneously attending law school. Alisha was instrumental in assisting the firm’s court appointed receivers in revitalizing some of Rhode Island’s most blighted urban areas, converting them to productive multi-family residential properties. She further had a direct hand in expanding the firm’s corporate department, working extensively with new small businesses going through their start-up, as well as those mid-sized entities seeking expansion.
